OBA Reservations & Activities
A university team application for reserving OBA study places and browsing library activities, built with modular JavaScript, an Express API, and MySQL.

A place to study. A connected workflow.
Two library services share an application: study-place reservations and activities from OBA’s search API.
A documented four-step flow
The available capture shows the first location step with no branch results. The steps below explain the source workflow without simulating availability or a completed booking.
From branch selection to confirmation
An explanation of the implemented flow, not a booking service.
Find a branch
Branch search supports autocomplete and a card carousel. No branch results are visible in the supplied capture.

Overview
PAD (Project Agile Development) is a browser application built during the second semester of my HBO-ICT programme. The team's application brings two Openbare Bibliotheek Amsterdam (OBA) workflows together: reserving a study place at a library branch and exploring library activities.
Visitors can search for a branch, select a study place, enter booking details, and receive a QR confirmation. A separate activity overview presents results from OBA's search API with pagination and filters, followed by a contact-registration form.
Context & role: Overview. 1 of 8.
Result
The project demonstrates a team-built browser client and Express API spanning database-backed reservations and an external activity feed. My activity-overview work developed practical experience with asynchronous JavaScript, third-party data structures, pagination, DOM-based filtering, and integrating a feature into an existing team framework.
